<dc:description>This research was done to check the influence of Barbie movies among youth. As most of the time the portrayal of women, even in the face of Barbie is feeble, submissive, oppressed and dependent. Feminism and the presentation of women is a vast perspective. The study revealed that there is women empowerment through Barbie movies and Barbie and women itself is not a symbol of sexism but a pronounced and considerable character of our life with broader ascendancy. For all the three questions of women empowerment the total percentage were more towards agreement i.e.; 45%, moderate 26%, disagree 13%, strongly agree 7.6%, while strongly disagree 5.3%. Youth is leaner towards its positive aspect rather than negativity. Some other aspects like, content analysis of those Barbie movies can be done, which are presenting more independent and empowered Barbies, or scenes can analyze that content is related to feminism.</dc:description>

<dc:description>This paper investigates how anyone may shape policy by interacting with the media, politics, and decision-makers. Media are interwoven with democracy and symbolize it. The press informs the public and actors about current events. Individuals, institutions, and political leaders are affected by media groups. PEMRA'scensorship and control rules impede controlled media's performance. It gets more criticism because it is not affected by authorities, but it just promotes one-sided views. The study aims to analyze the role of independent media in promoting or preventing good governance. It helps reduce corruption and improve government efficiency as well as civil service. Publications like Panama and Paradise Leaks have effectively exposed corruption, criminality, and power abuse while holding governments accountable globally. Interests drove decisions in Pakistan's civic, feudal, and military domains. Media firms help shape policy. This interest-based approach to governance has failed most democracies. Personal interests have interrupted institutional processes.</dc:description>

<dc:description>Pakistan has been the front line ally of United States in war on terror sacrificing seventy-five thousand lives and suffering an economic loss of 123 billion US Dollars. Even then the US led war on terror has impacted the global image of Pakistan. It has been portrayed in the international media as estate that supports terrorism, and is rife with religious and secular extremism - all of this making it a country that is extremely dangerous to visit. The country's global image has constantly deteriorated since2001 and until this very day, it has increased challenges to redeem itself to its former glory. This depiction of Pakistan, in the international media, as a state that is constantly undergoing political turmoil, unchecked violence and economic instability has resulted in strenuous trade, economics and diplomatic relations with many developed and developing countries in the world.</dc:description>

<dc:description>This study examines 141 photographs of conflict victims in Kashmir and Yemen from two Pakistani English newspapers, "Dawn" and "The Express Tribune," during 2019. The analysis found that Kashmiri victims were more frequently humanized in the photographs compared to Yemeni victims, with a greater use of close-up and medium shots. Meanwhile, Yemeni victims were more often depicted through long shots, which suggests dehumanization. Additionally, the study found that men received more coverage in the Yemen conflict, while women were portrayed more often in the Kashmir conflict to generate audience sympathy. Violent events were the most commonly reported topic in both newspapers.</dc:description>

<dc:description>This research analyzes the political coverage by Pakistani News Channel before the general election 2013. The prime time of the channels for one month was selected for supervising, examining and organizing determinations of coverage of general elections under the code of conduct and procedure of coverage set by regulators. The researcher conducted content analysis of prime time which includes headlines of news bulletin, talk shows and issued addressed in program content broadcast on TV channels. Results of the study showed that all news channels failed to fulfill the fundamental obsessions of impartial balance and reasonable reporting. Because of the indistinct and insufficient necessities of ECP regarding rules of ethics for media, the portion of airtime on electronic media was exceptionally discriminating. In this study as the analysis showed the conduct of the elections, though having eminent place in the state news plan, it devastatingly explained the major political parties.</dc:description>

<dc:description>In the dynamic realm of the digital landscape, the examination of gender stereotypes' influence on online advertising becomes imperative. This study addresses the backdrop of the expanding influence of social media platforms. The research aims to evaluate the prevalence of gender stereotypes in advertisements on these platforms, categorize these stereotypes, and investigate potential variations in their portrayal of men and women. A meticulous content analysis wasundertaken, systematically examining advertisements across five diverse categories in Pakistan published between September 2022 and September 2023. Employing a coding sheet for data collection, followed by rigorous statistical analysis, our research affirms the pervasive presence of gender stereotypes, particularly in categories such as negative portrayals and traditional gender roles. However, it is crucial to acknowledge study limitations, encompassing platform specificity, sample size constraints, and potential cultural nuances, emphasizing the need for future research to foster a more comprehensive understanding of this issue.</dc:description>

<dc:description>Public opinion and politics have seen a drastic transformation as a result of the emergence of social media platforms in the digital era. This study reveals the complex mechanisms by which social media platforms impact public opinion and drive political debate through an in-depth examination of user-generated material, qualitative research, and quantitative surveys. The results show how effective social media is at quickly conveying information, promoting political mobilization, and raising the voices of those who are neglected. However, social media also has drawbacks like the growth of feedback networks, the occurrence of filter bubbles, and the diffusion of false information. The study highlights the significance of addressing these issues while utilizing social media's potential to promote informed and inclusive democratic engagement. Understanding the causes causing these shifts will help society manage the shifting environment and work towards a social media-era republic that is more powerful and participative.</dc:description>
